Teeth whitening is quite popular nowadays. In addition to enhancing facial beauty, it also builds personality and boosts confidence. Teeth whitening can be done in many ways, such as buying equipment to do at home.

Normally, people have whitening, shiny teeth. But some people have yellow or dark teeth, which look unattractive. It may be just some teeth or all teeth. There are many reasons why our teeth are not white, namely.

  • Regularly eating or drinking colored foods or beverages such as tea, coffee, sucking on candy, smoking, along with brushing your teeth improperly, causes food stains, bacterial plaque, and tartar to gradually build up until they become yellow, brown, or black in the gaps between your teeth.
  • Caused by tooth decay, which is usually dark yellow or brown in color, especially the front teeth, making them clearly visible.
  • Caused by a dead tooth, which means a tooth that has no blood or dental nerve to nourish it, making the tooth have a dark color, not transparent like a white tooth, which is a living tooth. It will happen to a tooth that has a lot of decay and has been left for a long time until it spreads to the dental nerve cavity. Or it can happen to a tooth that has had an accident or been hit hard until the blood vessels that nourish the tooth are torn. When left for a long time without removing the old dental nerve, the tooth will become even darker.
  • Teeth are abnormally color since birth due to certain diseases or excessive use of certain medications, such as tetracycline. The use of such medications will affect the color of the teeth, especially during the period when teeth are formed, i.e. baby teeth in children age 3-9 months and permanent teeth in children aged 3-12 years, causing almost all teeth to be rather yellow or gray-black. In addition, it may be cause by excessive use of fluoride, which will cause brown spots on the teeth, called mottled teeth.

Today, UFABET we have some basic advice for natural teeth whitening methods.

Toothpaste mixed with lemon juice and baking soda.

Baking soda itself isn’t what whitens teeth. Sodium carbonate (its official name) is a mild abrasive that gently removes surface stains and restores the bright whiteness of your teeth. Sodium carbonate is alkaline (as opposed to acidic). If your teeth are acidic or you eat a lot of acidic foods, sodium carbonate can help balance the pH, which is good for your mouth because the acid can damage your enamel. It also neutralizes the acid in lemon juice, which is a natural bleaching agent. You can usually mix baking soda with water and lemon juice on a few days, so you don’t use too much of either.

Things to prepare: Baking soda, Enough lemon juice or water to make toothpaste, Toothbrush.

Method: Mix several teaspoons of baking soda with fresh lemon juice (or water) to make toothpaste. Wipe your teeth and saliva dry with a tissue. Smear some toothpaste on your toothbrush and start brushing. Let it sit for a minute before rinsing your mouth to prevent acid from eating away at your enamel. If you’re using just water, you can leave it on for up to 3 minutes.

Strawberry scrub, salt and baking soda

Strawberries are high in vitamin C, which helps remove plaque that causes yellowing of teeth.  They also contain an enzyme called malic acid that helps dissolve stains on the surface of teeth. Salt is an abrasive, used to scrub away plaque and tartar. And baking soda, which is an optional ingredient (though it’s okay to add baking soda to pretty much anything you use for your teeth),

Things to prepare: 1-3 large strawberries, A pinch of salt, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda (optional)

Method: Mash the strawberries into pieces. Mix in a pinch of salt and 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, if desired. Wipe the saliva off your teeth with a paper towel, then spread the mixture on a toothbrush and brush. Let sit for 5 minutes before rinsing. Do this every night.
